Juriste (docteur en 1573) et lettré de Rovigo, a vécu aussi à Trévise et Padoue, et a exercé plusieurs magistratures dans les territoires de la "Terraferma" de Venise. Membre de l'Accademia dei Solleciti de Trévise (depuis 1588), de l'Accademia Veneziana de Venise (dpuis 1592), de l'Accademia dei Fecondi à Padoue (depuis 1604), et de l'Accademia dei Filarmonici à Verone (pseud. "l'Opportuno"). A écrit en italien (textes littéraires, historiques et juridiques) et en latin (textes juridiques).
