Umanista nato a Firenze verso il 1484, morto a Roma nel 1556. Servì Sadoleto nella Segreteria dei brevi e ricoprì a sua volta l'incarico sotto Giulio III, Marcello II e Paolo IV. Fu canonico di S. Maria Maggiore. Autore di alcuni capitoli burleschi e qualche componimento latino.
