General Note

Letterato e tipografo nato a S. Daniele del Friuli o a Colloredo di Monte Albano nel 1551. Scelta in gioventù la vita militare, partecipò alla giornata navale nel conflitto tra Cristiani e Turchi terminato con la vittoria di S. Giustina (1571). Giunto a Venezia decise di applicarsi all'arte tipografica e dal 1592 di trasferirsi ad Udine dove morì nel 1609.
