Born 1602, admitted Trinity College, Oxford 1618, B.A. 1620, M.A. 1624, fellowship 1628, converted to Roman Catholic 1629, chancellor of Salisbury Cathedral 1638, published theological works, DD Oxford 1642, captured at Arundel Castle 1643 when royalist forces surrendered, conveyed to bishop's palace at Chichester as too ill to travel to London, died there 1644.
