General Note

[Pigot 1825] gives James and Robert as at Bridge of Allan in 1825. About 1826 the MacRobies installed a machine at Airthrey No 3 and closed Keir Mill and Airthrey No.1. Mills 38 and 40. Airthrey No 3 was originally Mill 71 but in 1845 became 38. In 1852 Mill 38 belonged to Henderson & Co. Robert MacRobbie died in 1850. Slater 1862 gived Daniel M'Robbie as of this mill.
