General Note

10 Wilson Street was M. Ogle's address. In 1826 it was involved in a controversy among its members as to whether the Society should distribute “The Apocrypha” with its Bibles, as the British and Foreign Bible Society were. In 1861, the Society amalgamated with The National Bible Society of Scotland.
