Sign, Mark, Device etc."Framed device of a death's head, hour-glass, scythe, etc., with Non plus. Above it a circle containing an indistinguishable object (? a skull). Below, W. B. in an oval. (α) As figured, with W. B. (β) Solid black disk at top. Initials below voided. The history of the device is obscure between this date and 1633. Passed to Augustine Mathewes, 1632-33. (γ) With A.
