Michał Boym, woodcut
[Athanasiusa Kirchera / umass.edu. This image appears in Athanasius Kircher's China Illustrata (the last of the 3 plates between pp. 112 and 113), and is labeled there simply as the "Dress of a S.J. member", without indicating which Jesuit is being portrayed. Nontheless, Boym did contribute a lot to Kircher's book, so the portrait indeed could be his. -- Public domain -- http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Boym.jpg]
