Maitresse d'Edouard IV d'Angleterre vers 1476, après l'annulation de son mariage jusqu'à la mort du roi en 1483. Elle devient ensuite la maitresse de Thomas Grey et de Lord William Hastings. Accusée de sorcellerie, elle est emprisonnée à la Tour de Londres par Richard III. Puis graciée, elle finit sa vie avec Thomas Lynom
