Compositeur et chanteur. - Il se rend à Dresde, puis à Munich. - Maître de chapelle à la cathédrale de Vicenza (1571), puis à Prague (1580), où il obtient un poste de chanteur à la cour impériale jusqu'à sa mort (1584-1587)
