Fridrich David Fuchs * 31. december 1799, Levoča - † 6. október,1874, Levoča bol geodet, aktívny organizátor a funkcionár Uhorského karpatského spolku, znalec a propagátor Vysokých Tatier, zakladateľ priemyselných podnikov na Spiši, plodný spisovateľ. Autor prvého obšírnejšieho sprievodcu po Vysokých Tatrách.
