Professor at Leipzig 1571-80, born at Annaberg in Meussen, 1536. Professor of poetry, 1571; succeeded Camerarius as prof. Of Greek language & ethic at end of same year; expelled in 1580 for failing to sign the Formulae Concordiae; became Rector of the Guymnasium at Zerbst 1582; d. 1611.
