Libraire. Fils du libraire de Leipzig Johann Fritsch et frère aîné du libraire Kaspar Fritsch, établi aux Pays-Bas. En activité dès 1689, il succède en 1693 à son beau-père Johann Friedrich I Gleditsch à la tête de la librairie familiale (héritiers de Johann Fritsch). A parfois publié en association avec son frère Kaspar Fritsch à l'adresse d'Amsterdam ou de Rotterdam. Aurait aussi publié sous l'adresse d'Anvers. Succursale également à Prague. Autre(s) graphie(s) : Fritzsch.

Niemiecki księgarz i nakładca w Lipsku w latach 1690-1726, działał też we Frankfurcie nad Menem.
