depiction of ...
A male figure, possibly Narada, the inventor of the Vina. The man is shown walking in a hilly landscape with trees in the distance. He wears a red dhoti, edged in gold with a matching shawl draped over his shoulder. His hair is tied up in a top knot and he has a full beard. He holds a long rosary in his right hand and in his left hand he holds a vina which he rests against his shoulder. One end of the vina is decorated with a bird finial. His shadow is a grey loop attached to each foot.
