Philosopher and logician, was born in Haddington. Matriculated in the University of Glasgow in 1503 and graduated BA in 1506. By 1507 he had matriculated at the University of Paris and graduated MA in 1510, and eight years later became a bachelor of medicine.Rector of the University of Paris, 1525. Left Paris in 1528 and was reader in medicine in St. Mary's College, St. Andrew's under Archbishop Beaton's foundation. Rector of St. Andrew's 1530. Also associated with St. Salvator's. Author of several works on morals. Died 1552.
