Christoph Arnold hinterließ bei seinem Tode (6.8.1847) ein blühendes Geschäft, das er den Angehörigen des Geschäftes Robert Reimann und Julius Leubner vermachte, unter der Bedingung, daß Reimann seinem Namen das Wort Arnold zufüge und daß sich Leubner überhaupt Arnold nenne. Reimann starb Weihnachten 1848. Zweigniederlassung in Leipzig.
